In the 1990s, Nelson held positions in Boston as Vice President of Communications for Fidelity Investments and Scudder Investor Services, before founding The Duffle Group in 1997.
That company eventually morphed into Smart Content Marketing, LLC in 2009.
In 2017, Nelson created and launched CORESafety TV for the National Mining Association, which continues to air online each month and is highly regarded as one of that industry’s leading informational and educational resources.
Nelson’s creative passion for all things marketing and communications-related has helped drive major programs for the National Mining Association, the National Association for Music Education, Bloomberg, FCCI Insurance, Dell Computer, Apple, Hewlett Packard, General Motors, Campbell Soup, General Motors, BNA Software, Citigate Cunningham, Kaiser Permanente, GlobalScape Software, NetSimplicity Software, Merck Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, CRO Analytics, Associated Builders and Contractors, and many others.
